About UsDamTam is a homegrown business, run by mummies for mummies. We started the business because we wanted to be able to find high quality organic clothes for our babies in a colour other than beige! Six years on, we have a rainbow range of clothing in sizes from newborn to 8 year olds and we're still dedicated to the idea of making organic children's clothes an affordable luxury!
We love hearing from you and we're always happy to help, but we continue to juggle babies and business, so if you'd like to get in touch, <b>do please use email if at all possible</b>.
We'll endeavour to answer any question, whether you have questions about the clothing that we we stock, or you're looking for something that you haven't found in the site. You'll find that we answer you at odd hours, dictated by naptimes and school pickup times. Making A PurchaseMaking a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept credit card payment through Paypal. If you are shopping from Europe, North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency.
We accept most credit and debit cards. You may send your credit card information using the secure checkout process that is part of this web site. We cannot take payments any other way, Sorry!
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice (usually with your parcel). We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Shipping And HandlingGoods are shipped via Royal Mail Parcel Service by default. Parcels to mainland UK cost £3.50 and are free on orders of £60 or over. For the EU, Switzerland and Lichtenstein shipping is £8.00, for the US and Canada it's £20 and for the rest of the world it's £30. Please note that we are not responsible for any customs charges levied by non-EU states.
For those of you shopping for gifts, we are very sorry but we can no longer ship to different addresses, we have to ship to the address where the card used for paying is registered. This is to protect ourselves from fraudsters who have recently been targetting us. If you are a regular customer and would like your order delivered to a different address, please write us an email and we'll see what we can do to help. Sorry!
Normallyy, orders placed through our web site before midnight are usually dispatched within 2 days. We aim to dispatch all parcels within three working days of the order being placed. We use Royal Mail First Class Parcel Service, so within the UK, you can expect to receive your order within three to five working days.
We will always dispatch promptly, but we rely on the people at the post office to deliver your order reasonably fast. If you are ordering last minute presents, it may be worth sending us an email to see when your parcel will be posted.
Back OrdersNormally, everything that is displayed on the web site is in stock. In the unusual event of the item you choose being out of stock, we will email you with your options. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax ChargesBaby clothes do not classify for VAT, so for the majority of products on this site, no VAT is added. For any items which are taxable, 20.00% VAT is included in the price for orders made from the UK, or the European Union.
Credit Card SecurityWhen the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Returns PolicyWe know how tricky it can be buying for little people, so we give you a month to change your mind. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please return it to us unworn, with the labels still attached and enclosing a copy of the dispatch note, within thirty days of the original order. We will then exchange or refund your order, no questions asked.
We recommend that you pack the order well and ask the post office to give you proof of postage, since we can't provide refunds for goods that we do not receive, or that are damaged in transit when you send them back.
When we have received your parcel, we will exchange your order or send you a refund straight away - remember to write on the dispatch note whether you would like an exchange or a refund! If you request a refund, we will either refund your card, or send you a cheque, depending on how you paid for your order. Credit / debit card refunds can only be credited to the card that the goods were bought with.
Please note: carriage cost will only be included in the refund if the goods were faulty.

Alternatively, you can post your order to us at the address above, along with a cheque or money order made payable to DamTam Ltd. If you are paying for your order by cheque, please proceed as normal through the checkout process on the site and then select Cheque as your payment method - this will generate an order page that you can print out and send to us with your cheque. Please note that we are only able to accept cheques or money orders in pounds sterling. Your order will be dispatched as soon as payment is confirmed.|
