Come on, how cute are these little stripey tights!! We couldn't resist them. They're properly strokably soft - exactly the sort of soft you would wish to have for all your baby's clothes. You can happily wash them in the machine at 40°, and despite feeling fluffily soft, they're surprisingly hard wearing (as tested on a variety of surfaces by our latest little crawler).
We'll let you in on a little secret - our boys have been wearing tights all winter! We know that tights are conventionally worn by girls, but on babies and toddlers, they're just great for making sure that there aren't any drafty gaps and cold bare skin between sock and trouser bottom. They are available in rich blue, or snowy white.They are made of 2% elastane, 22% cotton and 76% organic cotton - why the 22% normal cotton, we don't know, but these are the best cotton tights we have so far been able to track down - do let us know if you come across any better!You can happily wash them in the machine at 40°, so any little leakages won't be a problem.
One of the newest additions to our collection of organic cotton socks and tights, these organic cotton children's tights come in a range of cheerful colours to match most outfits - stripey pink, blackberry and tomato (pictured) and also pink (it's the same pink as the bottom of the stripey pair). Now all you Daddies out there, when you're dressing your daughters, top tip to remember: under trousers the tights go inside the poppered vest top, under dresses the tights go outside the poppered vest top. These brightly coloured organic cotton socks are essentials. They come in packs of two pairs - red and white, or blue and white. Soft ribbing at the ankles helps to make sure that they stay on. They don't have rubber grips on the soles - we have experienced those being chewed off and they also make it really tough to put shoes on! These chunky navy organic cotton ankle socks have little rubber non-slip stars on the sole, so that when your little stars are bounding around the house, they won't be slipping and sliding all over the place. Great as house socks, bed socks, or just plain cosy normal socks, we secretly wish they came in adult sizes too.Size range:Baby clothing: 0 to 12 months
"What on earth is biodynamic?" I hear you cry. Well, it's like organic but more so - biodynamic agriculture is an ecological and sustainable farming philosophy - this is farming as a spiritual pursuit!As well as being ethically pure and made from the wool of happy, spiritually satisifed sheep, these lovely little baby socks will keep tiny toes toasty and warm. They are available in three colours - blue, white, or red. They don't have rubber grips on the soles, so for little walkers, be sure to put some little soft shoes on top. Being wool, they're handwash only, but as busy and realistic mums, we've found that they don't need washing after every wearing - babies have very clean little feet and happily, most messes seems to miss their socks!Size range:Baby clothing: 0 to 12 months
