This fairtrade organic cotton sleeveless baby vest is ideal for summer - the perfect recipe for cool happy babies. When we saw it we gave a cheer - why haven't we come across sleeveless vests before? It poppers at the bottom, so it won't ride up, even on wriggly babies.

It's fairtrade certified and made of 100% organic cotton. All the fastenings are nickel free to protect even the most sensitive skin.

Piccalilly is an ethically conscious brand, based in the UK, who do an extremely funky line of fairtrade organic cotton baby and toddler clothing.

We find Piccalilly clothes to be on the small side. Admittedly we tend to produce michelin babies (rolls and rolls); that said, we've also heard from a few of our customers that Piccalilly clothes are cut a bit on the slim side. If you find that they're not right, we will happily exchange them for a different size with no quibbling.

Washing instructions
We recommend washing at 30°C (be kind to the planet!). The manufacturer's washing guidelines can be found on the label inside the clothes. If you're in need of some handy tips and tricks for getting baby stains out of clothes at low temperatures, see our Washing Green AND Clean page.

Expect up to 5% shrinkage on the first wash, because being organic cotton, the clothes are not chemically treated.

These clothes couldn't be any kinder - as well as the cotton being organic, all the poppers, fastenings and zippers are nickel free.

Made in India - through a supply chain that has been audited by the Fairtrade Foundation. Piccalilly always trade constructively and fairly with their suppliers by paying advances - typically of 50%, placing regular and repeat orders throughout the year and where possible contributing towards local causes.
